The Challenge
Central York Chamber (CYC) empowers small and medium-sized businesses in Newmarket and East Gwillimbury. With a focus on professional transformation and innovation, CYC wanted a dynamic virtual hub and a go-to online destination for the local business community. The website had to share the benefits of membership and programmes to two audiences: current members and prospective members who needed inspiration to join. CYC wanted to stand out from the crowd with a site that was unlike a typical chamber of commerce website.

Our Solution
Our design is cutting edge and community focused. We created a streamlined and intuitive user experience that provides easily accessible information. Integrated features include a resource hub with a library of business and professional development content, and a showcase for events, seminars, workshops and conferences. We encouraged user interaction with an area to post news and updates. And we facilitated connection elsewhere too, with an email newsletter sign up and social media feed. The site is AODA compliant, includes SEO implementation, and we also provided CMS training.
