The Challenge
When a new food market opened near us in Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket, we were asked to create a website and marketing material to celebrate their launch and invite residents to visit and buy products online. Market & Co. is a combination of a local baker, seafood market, juicery and restaurants all rolled into one curated area. Our task was to bring together the 18 artisans and merchants and eateries that operate there and embody the market’s vibrant atmosphere.

Our Solution
We used a mix of bold typography and clean lines on the site and included large hero images and video to give an up-close-and-personal taste of what the market is like. We integrated a full eCommerce function with shopping cart and order management, and an event calendar so that people could sign up to events and buy tickets in advance. To support the launch of the site and the market itself, we created a portfolio of marketing materials. First came the hoardings to announce their arrival, then the opening materials including signage, posters, tabletop signs, gift cards and gift wrap, notepads, menus, and decals.
